I am a PhD candidate specializing in econometrics and labor economics in the Department of Economics at Northern Illinois University expecting to graduate in July 2024.
My current research focus is based in health and labor economics, with a primary emphasis on how employment benefit packages can improve productive outcomes for workers facing chronic illness.
I am on the job market and available for interviews.

I currently work as a Graduate Fellow sponsored by IL Deparment of Natural Resources (IDNR), with project work housed within the Institute for the Study of the Environment, Sustainability, & Energy at NIU. Our team aims to produce a comprehensive SCORP report for IDNR through conducting surveys of IL recreational stakeholders and addressing equity and access issues using GIS.
I am a welfare economist above all. I am eager to contribute my expertise in microeconomics and econometrics to an organization that aligns with my values of identifying issues and innovating solutions to improve societal welfare.
This is a goal I hope to carry out both in independent research and opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration, including working with others with various levels of professional expereince and different personal beliefs and upbringings. The broader the pool of voices, the greater the potential for efficacious problem solving.
